Humanity and nature both have to be respected, life should be in balance. Yoga is my tool, to create this balance, to come closer to my real self, to my inner core. For me, yoga is a powerful and beautiful instrument to combine raising awareness for and strengthening of your body and mind.
By offering the guidance of yoga, I like to share this tool with others to create a more balanced live for them as well. Seeing my students being calmer, more connected and happier after a class gives me energy. Observing how my teaching let the students develop in their practice gives me joy. I hope to empower my students.
When traveling, I met and still meet inspiring yoga teachers all around the world. Every seed they planted in me through their guidance made me a passionate but autonomous student, which at the end motivated me to become a teacher myself. Mainly to develop my own practice more independently, I followed a Yoga Teacher Training at Suan Sati Yoga Centre Chiang Mai, Thailand (Official 200 hours YTTC). It is there that I discovered my talent and got encouraged to teach others, too. The education included the following yoga theories and styles: Hatha, Vinyasa, Yin, Bakti, Vipasana Meditation.
I mainly teach a slow vinyasa flow focused on the breath and alignment. I developed a rhythm in which I try to ground and calm the mind while focusing on mobility and strength of the body. I am mostly inspired by the teachings of Will Hardy (Hatha) and Luca Bellucci (Rocket) – both offering a physical tough but calming exercise with precise cueing. Besides, I like Yin Yoga, as it is great to experience a clear and peaceful mind by letting the energies flow within your body through stillness in a pose.
